Additionally, they gain invaluable knowledge on the role of exercise in improving health and wellbeing. Many lecturers in the program hold accreditations or charters with professional bodies like BASES, UKSCA, and BPS, guaranteeing high standards of knowledge transfer. Students spend around eight hours per week in lectures and eight hours in practical sessions, including labs, interactive workshops, and seminars. The course received a 91% satisfaction rate for teaching in the 2022 National Student Survey (NSS). This provides an exceptional opportunity for students to engage in research on exercise and wellbeing, or even work as an Activator, leading exercises or assisting qualified instructors.
